Bio.

Suzy Malik creates "smart art".

She survived the suburbs and is armed with a BFA in New Media. She is now focusing on establishing her freelance career.

Suzy has been involved in group shows that have been shown at the Ryerson Gallery, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre and The Design Exchange and recently had a successful solo show at Xtra's Gallery X. Suzy's work can be found in Canadian publications like Xtra! , Trade, Siren and Fireweed. You can also find much of her illustrations and photography throughout the cds, zines, web site and promotional material of indie music label Few'll Ignite Sound.

Suzy is the co-creator (with talented writer Zoe Whittall) of the self-published comic book titled Self-Serve, which is featured as the April 2003 zine of the month in Broken Pencil. Zoe Whittall and Suzy Malik's first collaborative piece can be found in the pages of the Lambda nominated Arsenal Press Anthology Brazen Femme (2002/03).
